Riga:Azerbaijani table tennis players are gearing up to participate in the Riga City Council’s Youth Cup 2026, scheduled to take place in Riga, Latvia, starting on October 23.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the country will be represented by a team of nine players. In the boys’ category, Elshan Huseynov, Ughur Nazarli, Tunar Baghirov, and Ruslan Karimov will compete. Meanwhile, Nigar Mahmudova, Yaghmur Mammadli, Arzu Aslanova, Khadija Babazade, and Shabnam Mansurova will represent Azerbaijan in the girls’ competition.
The tournament is set to conclude on October 25, providing a platform for young table tennis talents to showcase their skills on an international stage.
