Baku: Two Azerbaijani students have been selected to study in Tajikistan for the 2024-2025 academic year as part of an Intergovernmental Scholarship Program. This opportunity arises from a “Protocol on Cooperation in Education” signed on August 10, 2018, between the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the students will attend two of Tajikistan’s prestigious universities, Tajik National University and Khujand State University. They will focus their studies on the humanities, social sciences, and natural sciences. This marks the first time Azerbaijani students will study in Tajikistan under this program, highlighting the collaborative efforts between the two countries in the field of education.
