Baku: Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev expressed satisfaction with the nation’s economic progress during his address for the World Azerbaijanis Solidarity Day and the New Year.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, President Aliyev highlighted that Azerbaijan’s foreign exchange reserves have surpassed $80 billion, marking a historic high. He also noted a significant reduction in the country’s external debt, which now stands at just 6.3 percent of the gross domestic product. The president underscored that Azerbaijan’s foreign exchange reserves are 16 times greater than its external debt, indicating a robust economic position.
