BAKU: Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has extended his congratulations to Liong Kiong, the newly elected President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. In a letter addressed to President Kiong, Aliyev expressed his sincere congratulations and highlighted the strong and developing relations between Azerbaijan and Vietnam.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, President Aliyev emphasized the successful development of the bilateral relations between the two countries, which are rooted in strong traditions. He expressed satisfaction with the current level of interstate relations and cooperation.
Aliyev expressed his belief in the potential to further expand friendly relations and strengthen mutually beneficial cooperation between Azerbaijan and Vietnam. He also conveyed his best regards and wished Liong Kiong success in his new role, emphasizing the welfare of the people of Vietnam.
