Baku: Azerbaijani Parliament has decided to send a congratulatory letter to President Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva on the occasion of the Day of Restoration of Independence. The proposal was presented by Speaker of the Parliament Sahiba Gafarova during the session of the Milli Majlis.
According to Azeri-Press news agency, the proposal to send the congratulatory letter was met with applause and subsequently adopted by the members of the parliament. The Day of Restoration of Independence is an important national event, marking a significant moment in Azerbaijan’s history.
