Antalya: Jeyhun Bayramov, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, met with Ambassador Kevin Hamilton, NATO Deputy Assistant Secretary General for Partnerships and Special Representative for the Caucasus and Central Asia, on the sidelines of the Antalya Diplomacy Forum.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the meeting underscored the longstanding cooperation between Azerbaijan and NATO, particularly through the Partnership for Peace Program. The discussions focused on advancing the partnership, especially in the areas of energy security and the protection of critical infrastructure.
The Azerbaijani Foreign Minister briefed Ambassador Hamilton on regional developments, including the post-conflict normalization process with Armenia, ongoing reconstruction efforts in liberated territories, and initiatives aimed at achieving sustainable peace. Additionally, the two officials exchanged views on global security challenges, emphasizing the importance of de-escalation in the Middle East, adherence to international humanitarian law, and the protection of civilians.
