Bursa:Azerbaijani designer Gulnara Khalilova showcased her national collection at the 9th International Bursa Fashion Week, an event that gathered fashion designers from multiple countries.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, Khalilova’s collection emphasized the richness of Azerbaijani national costumes, highlighting the country’s cultural heritage and traditions in decorative and applied arts. By integrating national motifs and traditional elements with contemporary fashion trends, she successfully presented Azerbaijani culture on an international platform.
The event was organized by Yasariye Dogan, who is the founder and author of the project. During the fashion week, Gulnara Khalilova and other participants had the opportunity to meet with Erkan Aydin, the Mayor of the Osmangazi Municipality of Bursa, and Kamil -zer, Director of Bursa Provincial Culture and Tourism.
Gulnara Khalilova’s participation further contributed to the global promotion of Azerbaijani national costumes and cultural heritage.
