Baku: Azerbaijani and Italian military pilots recently held an expert meeting as part of a bilateral military cooperation plan established between the Azerbaijan Air Force and the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Italian Republic. This initiative was part of an experience exchange program for military pilots, as reported by the Ministry of Defense to APA.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the meeting, titled ‘Expert Meeting on Advanced Flight Training,’ included presentations from both parties. These presentations covered basic and advanced level training for pilots operating 4th and 5th generation fighter aircraft. Additionally, discussions were held regarding the ‘International Training School,’ which plays a role in the ongoing professional development of military pilots.
The meeting underscored the significance of such events in fostering experience exchange. This collaboration aims to enhance the skills and knowledge of military pilots from both nations, contributing to their respective air forces’ operational capabilities.
