BAKU: The BE-200CC amphibious aircraft from the Azerbaijani Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) is continuing its firefighting operations in Trkiye, Trend reports via the ministry.
The aircraft, dispatched to support the fraternal Trkiye’s wildfire response as part of a mission initiated by Azerbaijan’s President Ilham Aliyev to assist with severe forest fires was engaged in firefighting efforts in the Izmir-Aliaga area on October 8.
To note, the amphibious aircraft begun operations to extinguish forest fires in Trkiye on August 18.
