Stockholm:Elnur Sultanov, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the Kingdom of Sweden, has officially presented his credentials to King Carl XVI Gustaf. The ceremony took place at the Royal Palace in Stockholm.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, during the meeting, Ambassador Sultanov conveyed the greetings and best wishes from Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev to King Carl XVI Gustaf. Sultanov expressed his commitment to enhancing the bilateral relations between the two nations.
King Carl XVI Gustaf requested the ambassador to pass on his sincere greetings and best wishes to President Ilham Aliyev. He also wished Sultanov success in his diplomatic mission.
The meeting included discussions on the historical ties between Azerbaijan and Sweden, the current state of their bilateral relations, and cooperation on addressing global challenges.
