Baku:Work is underway in Azerbaijan to facilitate the submission of tax declarations through a mobile application. This development was announced by Samir Khaligov, the Acting Head of the Main Department of Tax Risk Management of the State Tax Service, during the “Digital Financial Ecosystem A New Stage in Governance” conference held in Baku.
According to Azeri-Press news agency, Khaligov highlighted that this innovation aims to provide taxpayers with a more convenient and prompt way to submit their tax declarations. The initiative is particularly beneficial for micro-entrepreneurs who might not have easy access to desktop computers.
Khaligov further explained that as part of the ongoing digitalization of tax administration, efforts are being made to expand the mechanism for automatically pre-filling tax declarations. These advancements are expected to reduce the administrative burden on entrepreneurs and simplify the process of meeting tax obligations.
