The 66th annual meeting of the International Association of Judges was held in Cape Town, Republic of South Africa, Union of Judges told APA.
During the meeting an official request of the Union of Judges of Azerbaijan to hold the General Assembly in Baku in 2025 in accordance with the charter conditions of the organization was discussed. Despite the protest of the delegations of Armenia and France, as a result of the secret voting, it was decided to hold the General Assembly of the International Association of Judges in Baku in 2025.
At the meeting, the participants were shown a specially prepared video depicting the nature, history, culture, national and moral values ??of Azerbaijan, as well as the judicial system and the reforms implemented in this field, including the activities of the Azerbaijan Judges’ Union.
