Amman:Revenue from Azerbaijan’s cotton exports rose significantly in the first eight months of this year, reaching approximately $187.9 million, as reported by the State Customs Committee.
According to Azeri-Press news agency, this marks a 23.3% increase compared to the same period in the previous year.
In addition, Azerbaijan imported cotton valued at $7.1 million during the same period, which represents a 13.9% increase compared to the corresponding period of the previous year.
Overall, cotton exports represented 0.86% of Azerbaijan’s total exports, while cotton imports accounted for 0.06% of the country’s total imports during this period.
