Baku:President Ilham Aliyev emphasized the importance of enhancing defense capabilities and ensuring national security as key priorities in Azerbaijan’s state policy. This was conveyed in his address to attendees of the ADEX 2026 – the 6th Azerbaijan International Defence Exhibition and Securex Caspian 2026 – the 15th Anniversary International Exhibition for Internal Security, Safety and Rescue Equipment.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, The president highlighted that Azerbaijan’s defense industry has seen substantial development, reaching a new qualitative stage with expanded production capabilities. Locally manufactured defense products play a crucial role in supplying the Armed Forces and are competitive in international markets, attracting interest from institutions in various countries.
Aliyev noted that the achievements in the defense industry contribute to strengthening Azerbaijan’s military-technical potential and foster deeper cooperation with friendly and partner states.
