Baku: President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan has extended his congratulations to Cuban President Miguel Daz-Canel Bermºdez and the people of Cuba on the occasion of the National Holiday of the Republic of Cuba, known as Liberation Day. In a heartfelt message, President Aliyev emphasized the enduring friendship and cooperation between Azerbaijan and Cuba.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, President Aliyev expressed his belief that the relations between Azerbaijan and Cuba, which are founded on strong traditions, will continue to thrive in a spirit of friendship and cooperation. He highlighted the importance of advancing bilateral and multilateral relations to serve the interests of both nations’ peoples.
President Aliyev also took the opportunity to extend his best wishes for the upcoming New Year of 2026. He wished President Daz-Canel robust health, success in his endeavors, and everlasting peace and prosperity for the people of Cuba.
