Astara: Azerbaijan has facilitated the evacuation of 15 additional foreign nationals from Iran through the Astara state border checkpoint. The evacuees include citizens of Azerbaijan, the UK, China, Russia, and India.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the evacuation process involved the completion of relevant document checks and other necessary procedures at the border crossing, ensuring a secure transition. The evacuees comprise three Azerbaijanis, one British national, three Chinese nationals, one Russian, and seven Indians.
The operation was conducted under the supervision of relevant state institutions, highlighting continued cooperation and coordination in facilitating the safe return of foreign nationals from Iran.
