Baku: Azerbaijan has announced an extension to the suspension period of inspections in the field of entrepreneurship, APA reports. This decision is part of a proposed amendment to the Law ‘On the Suspension of Inspections in the Field of Entrepreneurship,’ which was deliberated during the first reading at the Milli Majlis Committee on Economic Policy, Industry and Entrepreneurship meeting.
According to Azeri-Press news agency, the amendment will extend the suspension of inspections in the entrepreneurial sector until January 1, 2027. The previous deadline for this suspension was January 1, 2026. The suspension of inspections began on November 1, 2015, with the objective of fostering the development of entrepreneurship across Azerbaijan.
