Baku: An event was held at the Azerbaijan Military History Museum, organized by the Ministry of Defense, with the participation of servicemen, representatives of various media entities and Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs), as well as experts, APA reports citing the Ministry of Defense. The event commenced with a tribute to the National Leader of the Azerbaijani people, Heydar Aliyev, and Shehids, who sacrificed their lives for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Motherland. The National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan was performed.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the event featured a general report on the activities carried out by the Ministry of Defense in the first half of 2025. It also highlighted activities implemented in the first half of the year in line with the requirements of the Defense Ministry’s Communication Strategy, approved by the relevant decision of Defense Minister Colonel General Zakir Hasanov. The discussion emphasized the development of strategic communication in accordance with modern innovations and current requirements as part of ongoing reforms in the army development sphere.
Participants were provided with detailed information on cooperation with state authorities and NGOs, protection of state secrets in the media space, and work with citizens’ appeals, among other topics. The event also covered military education initiatives within the Azerbaijan Army, including information about the special educational institutions of the National Defense University and their admission procedures.
At the end of the event, a wide exchange of views took place, suggestions were heard, and guests’ questions were answered.
