Baku: President of the Republic of The Gambia, Adama Barrow, has sent a congratulatory letter to President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, on the occasion of May 28 – Independence Day, APA reports.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the letter addressed to President Aliyev expressed greetings on behalf of the people of The Gambia and acknowledged the significance of Azerbaijan’s National Day. President Barrow emphasized the importance of the day in Azerbaijan’s history, highlighting it as a symbol of the country’s sovereignty and independence.
In his message, President Barrow recognized Azerbaijan’s achievements under President Aliyev’s leadership, particularly in socio-economic development. He noted that Azerbaijan has become an upper middle-income country, attributing this progress to the Azerbaijani leader’s dynamic leadership.
The letter concluded with President Barrow extending his highest consideration and esteem to President Aliyev, reinforcing the friendly ties between the two nations.
