Baku: The Minister of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov, alongside the First Deputy Minister of Defense and Chief of the General Staff of the Azerbaijan Army, Colonel General Karim Valiyev, held a meeting with the families of Turkish Martyrs. These families were visiting Azerbaijan at the invitation of the ‘YASAT’ Foundation.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the Minister welcomed the guests and expressed his satisfaction with their visit to Azerbaijan. He highlighted the importance of remembering Azerbaijani and Turkish Martyrs and stressed that, following instructions from the leaders of both nations, the families of Martyrs receive considerable attention and care.
The meeting served as a platform to further develop the historically strong friendship and cooperation between Azerbaijan and Turkey. The organization of such mutual visits aims to strengthen the ties between the two countries.
Representatives from Turkey expressed their gratitude to the Azerbaijani Minister of Defense for the warm welcome and hospitality. During their visit, the guests explored historical and cultural sites in Azerbaijan, experiencing the blend of ancient and modern architecture while learning about the country’s history and culture.
