Azerbaijan Begins Supplying Natural Gas to Bulgaria’s Ruse Province.

Ruse: Azerbaijan has started supplying natural gas to social consumers in Bulgaria’s Ruse province. The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) is collaborating with the M-Gaz company to supply the gas directly to consumers in the region.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the “hybrid gasification” pilot project is being jointly implemented by SOCAR, M-Gaz, and the Ruse municipality. The main beneficiary of this initiative is the St. Cyril and Methodius primary school in the village of Nikolovo, Ruse municipality, which will receive the necessary volume of natural gas from SOCAR.

In addition to the primary school, SOCAR plans to extend the supply of natural gas to another 10 schools and kindergartens in the Ruse province in the coming months. This project is expected to contribute to a reduction in carbon emissions and energy costs in the region.
