Baku: Azerbaijan reported notable changes in its electricity export and import volumes last year.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the country’s electricity exports saw a decrease of 250.2 million kWh, or 17.9 percent, bringing the total to 1,147.003 million kWh. Meanwhile, electricity imports experienced an increase of 6.7 million kWh, or 3.9 percent, totaling 177.2 million kWh.
Overall electricity production in Azerbaijan reached 28,657.5 million kWh last year, marking an increase of 262.3 million kWh, or 0.9 percent. These figures were shared by the Ministry of Energy, highlighting shifts in the energy sector for the country.
