Baku: Azerbaijan and the United States are set to hold events aimed at strengthening parliamentary ties between the two nations. ‘It is no coincidence that today Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan and Head of the Department of Foreign Policy Affairs of the Presidential Administration Hikmat Hajiyev, is holding important meetings in the United States,’ Samad Seyidov, Chairman of the International Relations and Interparliamentary Relations Committee of Azerbaijan’s Milli Majlis (Parliament), stated during a committee session.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Seyidov expressed optimism about the future of interparliamentary relations between Azerbaijan and the United States. He noted that various events are scheduled during the autumn session to enhance connections between the Milli Majlis of Azerbaijan and the US Congress. Seyidov emphasized that Azerbaijan-US relations are entering a new stage.
