Baku: Adil Karimli, Minister of Culture of Azerbaijan, met with Miguelngel Moratinos, High Representative for the UN Alliance of Civilizations (UNAOC), to explore prospects for cooperation.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the meeting focused on current and future cooperation between Azerbaijan and the UNAOC. Key topics included preparations for the 7th World Forum on Intercultural Dialogue, which is scheduled to take place in Baku next year, in partnership with UNAOC. The parties also discussed the possibility of Azerbaijan hosting the 12th UNAOC Global Forum in 2027, in collaboration with the UNAOC Group of Friends.
The discussions highlighted the significance of the partnership established through the “Baku Process,” which plays a pivotal role in promoting international intercultural dialogue. Both sides reviewed past initiatives implemented jointly with UNAOC, ongoing events, and plans for upcoming forums.
