Baku:The Ministry of Digital Development and Transport of Azerbaijan has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with SpaceXAI to enhance cooperation in artificial intelligence solutions and digital technologies.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the MoU aims to apply SpaceXAI’s Grok models to improve public services and other key areas of Azerbaijan’s digital transformation. The primary goal is to deliver more accessible, efficient, and higher-quality public services.
The agreement will involve all government institutions, with both parties evaluating AI applications and considering the broader use of successful solutions across the public sector. The signing event included Azerbaijan’s Deputy Minister Rashad Hasanov and SpaceXAI representatives Dustin Yelinek, Reem Sadek, and Neil Perkins.
During the meeting, Deputy Minister Hasanov emphasized Azerbaijan’s shift from discussing AI to implementing it, highlighting that the partnership with SpaceXAI will integrate AI solutions into the national digital infrastructure. Yelinek expressed satisfaction with collaborating to bring Grok to government, aiming to enhance service delivery for citizens.
The parties also committed to building local capacity, sharing knowledge, and developing skills to align AI solutions with Azerbaijan’s long-term national digital development goals. A roadmap will guide pilot projects, technical demonstrations, and stakeholder engagement, ensuring secure and data-protected implementations.
This memorandum supports Azerbaijan’s Artificial Intelligence Strategy for 2025-2028 and the Action Plan for Accelerating Digital Development for 2026-2028, contributing to a modern, citizen-centered public sector.
