Baku: Mikayil Jabbarov, Azerbaijan’s Minister of Economy, met with a delegation from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), led by Elisabetta Falcetti, the Bank’s Managing Director for Trkiye and Caucasus. The meeting focused on exploring ways to enhance cooperation between Azerbaijan and the EBRD.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, discussions revolved around the EBRD’s ongoing activities in Azerbaijan and potential areas of collaboration. The dialogue included reviewing the priorities of the Bank’s investment strategy and identifying opportunities for joint projects in various sectors such as water supply, urban planning, transport infrastructure, and renewable energy. The meeting emphasized the mutual interest in strengthening partnership and maximizing the impact of EBRD investments in Azerbaijan.
