On October 21, 2024, the next meeting of political consultations between the ministries of foreign affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Kingdom of Belgium was held in Baku, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs told APA.
It was reported that the delegation of the Republic of Azerbaijan was headed by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Fariz Rzayev, and the delegation of the Kingdom of Belgium was headed by Jeroen Cooreman, Director-General for Bilateral Affairs – Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
During the consultations, relations between Azerbaijan and Belgium in the political sphere were discussed, the importance of mutual visits and meetings within the framework of international events for maintaining a continuous political dialogue was noted.
The parties exchanged views on issues on the international agenda, as well as other topics of mutual interest.
