Baku:The average monthly pension in Azerbaijan is projected to rise to AZN 640 next year, as stated by MP Musa Guliyev during discussions concerning the 2027 state budget and the budget of the State Social Protection Fund.
According to Azeri-Press news agency, Guliyev highlighted that increases in salaries, pensions, and benefits are intended to enhance social well-being. The declaration by President Ilham Aliyev at the 8th Congress of the New Azerbaijan Party regarding increases in salaries, pensions, benefits, and stipends is significant for strengthening social protection. The economic achievements of Azerbaijan in 2026 have created favorable conditions for maintaining a socially oriented budget policy in 2027.
The planned increases will contribute to raising incomes and improving the social well-being of the population. The average monthly pension is expected to increase by AZN 45, reaching AZN 640 next year, Guliyev noted.
