Baku:Passenger traffic on ASCO ferries has shown a marked increase in the first nine months of 2026, with a total of 21,939 passengers utilizing the service. This marks a 14% rise compared to the same period in the previous year.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, during January to September 2025, ASCO ferries carried 19,289 passengers. The growth in passenger numbers underscores the increasing popularity of the ferry services managed by ASCO, which operates under AZCON Holding.
Additionally, a notable surge in passenger numbers was recorded in September 2026. During this month alone, the passenger traffic rose by 40% compared to September 2025. Specifically, 2,907 passengers traveled on ASCO ferries in September 2026, up from 2,076 passengers in the same month the previous year.
