Santo Domingo:A delegation from Azerbaijan, led by Ulvi Mehdiyev, Chairman of the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations, is currently visiting Santo Domingo, the capital of the Dominican Republic.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the Azerbaijani delegation held meetings with Dominican officials, including Jos© Ignacio Paliza, Minister of the Presidency. A Memorandum of Understanding was signed with Sigmund Freund, Minister of Public Administration, to implement this model in the Dominican Republic.

The agreement outlines plans for Azerbaijani experts to train Dominican civil servants and develop relevant standards. This initiative marks the first time such a document has been signed with a Caribbean country, making the Dominican Republic the 53rd country to adopt the model. Azerbaijan’s Ambassador to the Dominican Republic, Ruslan Rzayev, was also present at the meetings.
