Baku: Abbas Araghchi, Iran’s Foreign Minister, engaged in a phone conversation with Jeyhun Bayramov, Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister, on May 1, as reported by the Azerbaijani Ministry of Foreign Affairs to APA. The discussion centered on the bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Iran, alongside addressing the current regional situation.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Seyed Abbas Araghchi shared insights into Iran’s recent peace initiatives and conveyed Iran’s stance on resolving the state of war in the region. Both ministers underscored the necessity of efforts aimed at ensuring regional stability and security and reducing prevailing tensions.
The conversation also included an exchange of perspectives on other regional and international matters of mutual concern, reflecting the ongoing dialogue between the two neighboring countries.
