Paris: Fifty percent of the world’s assets are concentrated in real estate, as highlighted by Yves-Laurent Sapoval, the Ministerial Delegate for Sustainable Cities and Urban Envoy for the Ministry of Ecological Transition and Territorial Cohesion of France. Speaking at an event titled ‘The Social and Economic Power of Housing: How Can Housing Drive Prosperity While Ensuring Equity for All?’, Sapoval emphasized the critical role of resettlement on the global agenda, addressing it as both an economic and social matter.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, Sapoval underscored the vulnerability of real estate to the impacts of climate change. He drew attention to the necessity for development to progress in a manner that includes the provision of more social housing. This is essential to ensure that the workforce has access to housing, which is crucial for their ability to relocate. Sapoval also highlighted the influence of demography on the housing sector, stressing the need for continued development to meet these demographic challenges.
