Baku: International issues should be resolved through dialogue among all countries, rather than through the dominance of individual states or a limited group of countries, President of the People’s Republic of China Xi Jinping said during his speech at the ‘SCO Plus’ format meeting, APA’s correspondent dispatched to Bishkek reports.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the Chinese leader emphasized that the formation of a multipolar world has already become an irreversible historical process. Xi Jinping highlighted that the dominance of a small number of countries in international affairs constitutes a historical injustice. He argued that neither the dominance of a single state nor the joint governance by select groups of countries, nor bloc politics can be considered genuine multilateralism.
Xi Jinping stressed the necessity for international issues to be addressed through dialogue among the world’s countries, with international rules being developed collaboratively. He underlined the significance of strengthening the authority of the United Nations, asserting that it is crucial for all states to have equal rights and opportunities, irrespective of their size, strength, or wealth.
The Chinese leader also called for the abandonment of double standards, exceptionalism, and interference in the internal affairs of other states, advocating for a more equitable and just international order.
