WUF13 Attracts Over 1,000 Media Representatives for Extensive Coverage


Baku: More than 1,000 media representatives provided extensive coverage of the 13th Session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13), as discussions on sustainable urban development remained highly active. Chairman of the State Committee on Urban Planning and Architecture, Anar Guliyev, highlighted this achievement during the closing ceremony of the event.



According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Guliyev emphasized the significant attention the forum garnered from the international media. He noted that the extensive media presence was instrumental in promoting the importance of sustainable urbanization and fostering international cooperation on a global scale.



Furthermore, Guliyev pointed out a key outcome of WUF13 was the signing of a letter of intent concerning the Baku Standard. This initiative aims at establishing efficiency standards that will be applied in future World Urban Forums, further underlining the forum’s role in advancing sustainable urban development initiatives.
