In January-July 2024, 130 685 thousand barrels of oil was transported through Trkiye’s territory via Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) pipeline, which is 2,04% less in annual comparison, APA-Economics reports citing Trkiye’s BOTAS company.
According to the company, 133 409 thousand barrels of oil were transported through the territory of Trkiye via BTC pipeline in the corresponding period of 2023.
Note that 228 811 thousand barrels of oil was transported through Trkiye via BTC pipeline last year, which is 1,5% more compared to the 2022 figure.
Recall that oil produced from Azerbaijan’s Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli fields is imported via BTC pipeline. Additionally, the oil of other producers is also sent to the territory of Trkiye via BTC pipeline.
