Baku: A delegation from the Ministry of Defense of Uzbekistan, currently on an official visit to Azerbaijan, engaged with the State Service for Mobilization and Conscription of Azerbaijan.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the meeting was organized by the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan and was attended by senior officials from both institutions. The discussions at the meeting covered a range of topics, including the military service conscription process, medical certification, deferment rights, and mobilization preparedness in both peacetime and wartime. Additionally, the talks delved into process automation, digitalization, and several other key issues pertinent to both countries.
The Uzbek delegation also had the opportunity to visit one of the local structural units, where they received a briefing on the overall workflow, with a particular focus on the medical certification procedure. In a gesture of goodwill and camaraderie, symbolic gifts were presented to the guests at the conclusion of the visit.
