US Updates Forecast for Azerbaijan’s Liquid Hydrocarbon Production


Baku: Energy Information Administration (EIA) under the US Department of Energy has updated its forecast for the average daily production of oil and other liquid hydrocarbons in Azerbaijan for 2026-2027, APA-Economics reports citing the monthly report of the EIA. An average daily production of oil and other liquid hydrocarbons in the country in 2027 will be at the level of 540 thousand barrels (the forecast has not changed).



According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the EIA’s assumption for 2026 mirrors this prediction, with the daily production also expected to be 540 thousand barrels, indicating stability in the forecast. The report highlights that Azerbaijan’s daily production of oil and other liquid hydrocarbons was higher in previous years, with 570 thousand barrels projected for 2025 and even higher at 600 thousand barrels in 2024.
