According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Charg© d’Affaires Amy Carlon discussed with Sheikh-ul-Islam Allahshukur Pashazade, Chairman of the Caucasus Muslims Board (CMB), and members of the CMB advisory council. The discussion included members representing the traditional religious confessions operating in Azerbaijan.
CDA Carlon highlighted the importance of the Washington Summit held on August 8, emphasizing the significant role of religious communities in fostering lasting peace and a prosperous future in the South Caucasus, as stated by the embassy.
