Balakan: As a result of comprehensive customs control measures carried out by employees of the Balakan Customs Department, goods that were not declared for customs control were detected, the State Customs Committee told APA-Economics.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, an inspection was conducted on two cargo vehicles carrying mixed goods that arrived in the country from Georgia at the department’s Mazimgara customs post.
During the inspection, lenses, household appliances, medical and cosmetic products with a total value of 232,185 manats were found in the vehicles. These items had not been declared or had been incorrectly declared for customs control.
An investigation into the incident is currently underway.
