“We are truly seeing everyone mobilized to contribute to climate issues,” United Nations Resident Coordinator in the Republic of Azerbaijan Vladanka Andreeva said during her speech at the Climate Imperative – from Local to Global Action panel on the opening day of Baku Climate Action Week (BCAW), APA reports.
She noted that they are cooperating with many parties: “As the UN in Azerbaijan, we have been partnering with many stakeholders – the COP29 Presidency team, the Government, the private sector, the young people, the academia, and the civil society – on this road to COP29, including through our flagship initiative, 29 Climate Conversations series with key climate interlocuters.”
