Kyiv: Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy expressed his appreciation for the support extended by Azerbaijan towards Ukraine, particularly acknowledging the congratulatory message from Azerbaijan’s President Ilham Aliyev on Ukraine’s Independence Day. Zelenskyy conveyed his gratitude through a post on X, highlighting the respect shown by Aliyev for Ukraine and its people.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Zelenskyy emphasized the enduring relationship between Ukraine and Azerbaijan, noting that both countries have consistently supported each other’s sovereignty and territorial integrity. He also extended thanks to Azerbaijan for its humanitarian and other forms of assistance. Looking forward, Zelenskyy expressed optimism about strengthening the strategic partnership between the two nations for mutual benefit.
