Ankara:Claims regarding the removal of the Heydar Aliyev bust in Şişli district’s Heydar Aliyev Park in Türkiye and the construction of a cultural center on the site have been denied.
According to Azeri-Press news agency, a statement was issued via the X account of the Center for Combating Disinformation under the Turkish Presidential Administration. The statement clarified that Şişli Municipality has no ongoing projects concerning the area, and no such initiatives are currently planned.
The Center emphasized that spreading outdated and baseless claims serves as provocation and disinformation, potentially impacting Azerbaijan-Türkiye relations. The public has been advised not to believe such claims.
