Turkish Delegation Explores Azerbaijani Social Service Innovations

Baku:A Turkish delegation led by Adnan Ertem, Deputy Minister of Labour and Social Security of Turkey, visited the DOST Agency, part of Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Population.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the delegation first toured Baku DOST Center No. 1. They were informed about the center’s operational principles and services by Farid Mammadov, Chairman of the Board of the DOST Agency. Mammadov highlighted the DOST concept’s advantages, initiated by First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva, which has introduced innovative advancements in public social services. The delegation received a comprehensive presentation on DOST services.

The group also visited the DOST Center for Inclusive Development and Creativity. Elnara Ansari, Director of the Center, detailed the progress in promoting social integration for vulnerable groups. The delegation observed the center’s activities, including musical performances and an exhibition of handcrafted works by trainers and beneficiaries.

The delegation praised the center’s efforts in developing creative potential and supporting employment for vulnerable groups, noting the inclusive environment and equal opportunities provided. At the visit’s conclusion, Adnan Ertem expressed his impressions in the center’s guest book.
