Baku:United States President Donald Trump stated on Wednesday that he had prevented the “total obliteration” of the world by stopping Iran from developing a nuclear weapon.
According to Azeri-Press news agency, Trump made these comments while responding to a reporter’s question about potential recipients of this year’s Nobel Peace Prize. He highlighted his administration’s efforts in ending eight wars and saving millions of lives as reasons for his consideration.
Trump also mentioned his success in securing the release of hostages and accomplishing unprecedented feats. He emphasized that regardless of whether he receives the Nobel Peace Prize, he has achieved significant accomplishments, which would reflect poorly on the prize’s credibility if not recognized.
