Baku:Azerbaijan’s Minister of Digital Development and Transport, Rashad Nabiyev, met with Lord Anas Sarwar, the UK Minister of State for Trade, to discuss enhancing their countries’ strategic partnership.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the discussions focused on expanding cooperation in areas such as transport, digital development, artificial intelligence, and cybersecurity.
A Memorandum of Understanding was signed alongside a Roadmap on Cooperation in Transport and Digital Development. Additionally, both parties agreed to establish a Joint Working Group to oversee the implementation of the initiatives outlined in these documents.
The meeting also included an exchange of views on opportunities to develop transport infrastructure and finance priority projects.
