Baku: Trade and economic relations between Germany and Azerbaijan continue to thrive, demonstrating steady growth and diversification of cooperation, German political scientist and international relations expert Klemens Fischer said in the latest episode of the “Azerbaijan and the World” program broadcast on the AZERTAC website.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, bilateral trade has reached significant levels in recent years, approaching £1.7 billion. The expert noted that Germany exports a wide range of products to Azerbaijan, including industrial equipment, automobiles, chemicals, and electrical products.
He emphasized that Azerbaijan, in turn, possesses significant logistics potential, particularly within the Middle Corridor, which is also of interest to European countries. He assessed that the development of transport infrastructure and support from business institutions create favorable conditions for expanding investment and deepening economic ties.
