President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev received President of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly Margareta Cederfelt, Akorda reports. The head of state noted that her visit is important for strengthening cooperation between Kazakhstan and the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly. The President of Kazakhstan emphasized that parliamentary diplomacy helps to build bridges between countries and peoples, and spoke about the implementation of large-scale political and economic reforms. In turn, Margareta Cederfelt expressed support for the ongoing reforms in Kazakhstan and noted that the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly is watching with particular interest the progress of the systemic transformation of the main political institutions. In addition, key issues on the agenda of the upcoming Astana International Forum (AIF) were considered. The interlocutors discussed topical issues of the regional and global agenda as well.
