Baku: The theme of the Annual Meetings of the Islamic Development Bank Group (IsDB) to be held in Baku has been announced, APA-Economics reports. The 51st Annual Meetings, scheduled for June 16-19, will focus on the theme ‘Regional integration for sustainable prosperity’ and will gather over 2,000 international participants. This announcement was made during a meeting between Azerbaijan’s Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov and the President of the Islamic Development Bank Group, Muhammad Al Jasser.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Minister Jabbarov highlighted Azerbaijan’s efforts to promote sustainable growth by enhancing regional economic ties, boosting transit and logistics capabilities, and diversifying its economy. He underscored the significance of IsDB’s projects in Azerbaijan, particularly in the liberated territories, as crucial for reconstruction and development.
Muhammad Al Jasser remarked that regional integration serves as a critical tool for achieving sustainable development in the face of global challenges. He affirmed that the IsDB is committed to expanding its cooperation in this area.
