Baku: Ilhom Abdurahmon, Tajik Ambassador to Azerbaijan, visited the Azerbaijan State News Agency (AZERTAC) to discuss media relations between the two countries. During the meeting with Vugar Aliyev, Chairman of the Board of AZERTAC, they explored joint cooperation in the information sector.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the ambassador received a briefing on AZERTAC’s operations, which include 22 foreign correspondent bureaus and news publications in eight languages. The partnership between AZERTAC and the Tajik news agency Hovar, established in 2009, was emphasized, highlighting ongoing cooperation in news exchange and within international organizations.
The discussion also covered providing information support for cultural projects and events organized by the Embassy of Tajikistan. There was a focus on promoting the tourism potential of both countries and disseminating relevant information.
