Strategic Training Centre Aligns With International Safety Standards to Reduce External Reliance

Baku: Azerbaijan is centralising its pilot and air traffic control training through a sophisticated new hub at the National Aviation Academy to foster local expertise and meet global safety benchmarks, APA reports citing Euronews.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, aviation training is increasingly shaped by advanced simulation and international standards. At a specialised training centre in Azerbaijan, students gain practical experience through full-flight simulators, allowing them to replicate real-life scenarios in a safe environment. Programmes combine theoretical learning with hands-on training, preparing future pilots and air traffic controllers for complex operations.

With partnerships across dozens of countries, the centre supports a growing network of aviation professionals. This approach is helping to develop local expertise, reduce reliance on external training and raise overall standards in line with global aviation requirements.
